The Sunbox Pod is a handbuilt wooden campervan furniture unit that quickly transforms your van into a camper. It includes a lounge area with a removable table that converts into a spacious double bed, plus a pull-out storage unit with a worktop for cooking.
Handcrafted in our Newhaven workshop from sustainable materials, it works two ways: a complete setup if you want to keep things simple, or a starting point if you’re building out your own van.

Something bigger is coming
The Pod is the first step in a new range we’re building for self-builders and for anyone who wants a simpler camping setup. Modular furniture you can have fitted or fit yourself, flat-pack designs, self-build packs with proper instructions, electrical and insulation kits, and camping gear we rate enough to put our name near.

We have designed the Sunbox Pod to be the perfect base unit to start your campervan adventures. With a professional installation you can trust, you’ll be able to hit the road immediately after purchase.
What’s great about the Sunbox Pod, is that you have the option to enhance it over time, if you choose to.
As a starting point we often recommend our modular upholstery system: Handmade cushioning to fit the Sunbox Pod exactly, which is designed with 100% recycled furnishing fabric and meets British Standards fire regulations. (However, if you’d prefer to buy a separate camping mattress you can do that too!)
Other structural add-ons include pop-top roofs, window installations, flooring and carpet lining. We can also assist with additional aspects like insulation, heating and electricals to ensure your van is fully equipped for adventure.
