Sunbox Campers is a family-run business, based in Newhaven, East Sussex. We create beautifully designed, artisan, eco-friendly campers serving customers across the UK.
We specialise in conversions on all smaller vans, including electric campers.
Our conversions
We offer small to medium campervan conversions on vehicles. On top of this, Sunbox Campers can help you to choose and source your base van.
All Sunbox Campers conversions include a fully equipped kitchen, your choice of luxury upholstery, and wooden furniture hand-built by skilled carpenters.
We have a range of design options and our premium ‘build to order’ service includes customisation options where you can choose the colours and finish of your van as well as various extras such as the number of windows, and additional items such as heating.

Sustainability
Escaping in a campervan creates a more minimal way of living, without the need (or space!) for unnecessary material possessions. It reminds us of the importance of slow, conscious travel and gives us more time to appreciate our planet.
We use sustainable materials in our conversions where possible, and we pride ourselves on being an eco camper conversion company.
- All our wood is FSC-certified from sustainable sources
- The majority of our campers can function off-grid with solar energy
- We use local suppliers for our products whenever possible
- We use organic Natural Fibre Insulation (NFI) in all our vans, made from sheep’s wool
- Our upholstery and flooring suppliers have been chosen for their high quality and sustainability standards
