Our 1-2 Berth Chamonix design packs a complete home-on-wheels into your Kia PV5 conversion.
Featuring 2 belted seats.
The Chamonix is one of two designs we offer for the Kia PV5. Where our Mandalay has a rock and roll bed and rear seats, the Chamonix takes a different approach. A pull-out double slat bed creates a comfortable, generous sleeping area without compromising on interior space or kitchen layout.
If you’re a couple, a solo traveller, or someone who’d rather have the bed always available than convert seats every evening, the Chamonix is the right choice for you.

The Vehicle: PV5 Cargo Plus Long Range
We build the Chamonix on the PV5 Cargo Plus Long Range. The Plus trim is essential because it includes V2L (the 220V power outlet that runs the kitchen and 240V sockets in our conversion). The Long Range battery (71.2kWh) gives 247 miles WLTP range.
Why the PV5 makes a great campervan base
Generous interior dimensions. 1,400mm headroom and 1,565mm width work well for the Chamonix’s slat bed layout, with room for a comfortable double bed and a full kitchen unit.
V2L built in. Powers the induction hob and 240V sockets directly from the drive battery. No large inverter required.
Purpose-built EV. Designed from a blank sheet on Kia’s E-GMP.S platform. Low floor, flat loadspace, well-packaged interior.
7-year vehicle warranty plus 8-year battery warranty. Both pass through to you.
Eligible for the £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant. The grant brings the Cargo Plus Long Range to £34,936 inc VAT.
We have a working relationship with Hannah at Kia Birchwood Eastbourne, who can supply PV5s for our customers. You can also order through your local Kia dealer or bring your own PV5 if you already have one.

- Total order to ready-to-collect: approximately 5 months
Best for…
The Chamonix suits you if:
- You’re a couple or solo traveller and don’t need rear belted seats
- You’d rather have a bed that’s always ready than convert seats each evening
- You like the idea of waking up to a view through the rear or sliding doors
- You want the most generous interior space and the most comfortable double bed
- Sleeping comfort is more important to you than passenger capacity
If you have or might have rear passengers, or you’d like the van to act as a family vehicle as well as a camper, the Mandalay is the better fit.
